Our planet is in crisis. From the oceans to the forests, we are destroying the resources we need to survive as a species. At Changing Tides Foundation, we believe women and girls are a critical part of the solution. Our mission is to empower women to protect our planet, by giving them the tools they need to become effective environmental stewards, and to enact positive change from the ground up in their own communities.
At home and around the world, we implement local educational and mentorship programs focusing on sustainability, ocean health, empowerment and access to clean water.
We are storytellers who harness the power of media to inspire and educate. Our goal is to activate individuals and communities to participate in global solutions that benefit our planet.
As five female surfers, we founded Changing Tides because our connection with the ocean motivated us to dedicate our lives to protecting it. By fostering that same love, connection and stewardship in women and girls around the world, we believe we can protect the future of the planet.
